SCOTTISH NIGHT - 12 July 2008

THEY GOT ME AGAIN OR ELSE THEY JUST DIDN’T WANT ME THERE?  APPARENTLY I WAS THE ONLY ONE GOING TO THE WENTWORTHVILLE COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR OUR SCOTTISH NIGHT ON SATURDAY NIGHT 12th JULY?

My spies have now advised me that our Charcoals Scottish night is being held at:

           The Old Eastwood Town Hall, 74 Agincourt Road, Marsfield - kick orf time - 19:00hrs.

I’ll summarise it below:

EVERYONE IS INVITED.  This is the last social event before those touring head off for Scotland.

Dinner and Dancing - this event is not a fund raiser, it is simply a chance for the whole club to enjoy a fun night together.

Dress – all things Scottish (that should please the backs)!!!

Cost: $35.00 per head - 3 course meal BYO 

Prize for the best dressed

Payment required on 6th July at our Gala Day.

BIRTHDAY NEWS

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY FOR THE 29TH JUNE 1968 – (No, it’s not mine)!!

On the 29th June 1968 Colin Johnson’s wife, Mrs Johnson gave birth to a 9lb 13oz baby boy they named Paul (Magic) Johnson!!

Paul, from your Mum and Dad and all of your Charcoals and Charcoalette mates we would like to wish you the Very Happiest 40th Birthday.

From the look of Kerrie it appears that she’s already given you her birthday present?  So, you may as well celebrate it with us by smashing and squashing a few Rats followed by a Charcoal Chicken dinner washed down with copious quantities of “the black”!!!

It just don’t get any better than that!! Happy Birthday Mate.
